The two prestigious wineries of Roberto Felluga, Marco Felluga in Gradisca d`Isonzo and Russiz Superiore in Capriva del Friuli are on line with a renewed website (www.marcofelluga.it).
This is a new look for the two companies located in the Collio Doc to present their history and the characteristics of their well known worldwide production, in particular their great white wines- as from the Friuliano winemaking tradition, along with the reds, from both native and international grapes, of great structure and suitable for a long aging.
In Italian and English - to reach the more and more interested wineries’ public, this website tells the story of a vocation for wine cultivated for generations, through different sections, from the section “The Land” (which reveals the peculiarities of the Collio, one of the first areas in Italy to obtain the recognition Doc in 1964) to “Innovation”, which offers an overview of Roberto Felluga’s winemaking philosophy, where tradition is combined with research to develop increasingly important quality achievements.
From more than twenty years the "project Felluga", conducted in collaboration with universities and the most prestigious agronomy departments, is based on a careful study of the vineyards soil to improve quality from selected grape growing, through the strengthening of the bond that has always linked the Roberto Felluga’s companies to the territory, as an added value to the peculiarity of his wines.
The “Estates” section presents in detail the individual companies, Marco Felluga and the beautiful Russiz Superiore with plenty of news including vineyards extension, plant density and wine production. The “Wines” section follows, with illustrations of the production and refining methods and technical sheets for all the products. Ample space is also given to the “Contacts” section and “Hospitality”, with information on guided tours, tastings, and the recent opening of the Relais Russiz Superiore, a charming country guests house with 8 rooms. Finally, a section dedicated to the “News”.
